The Catholic Campaign for Human Development has been a source of controversy and has a history of funding organizations that promote abortion, homosexuality, contraception, and Marxism and some have even given funds to Planned Parenthood or distributed condoms. Ralph McCloud assumed the duties of Director of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development in November of 2007. Prior to this position, he served as Mayor pro tem in Fort Worth, TX. While in Texas politics, McCloud gave a ringing endorsement to pro-abortion politician Wendy Davis, even serving as Treasurer on her campaign. McCloud has many other disturbing connections and has overseen millions of Catholic dollars going to organizations promoting abortion, contraception, homosexuality and Marxism.

NOTE REGARDING DIOCESES NOT LISTED HERE: Most dioceses that take the CCHD collection only retain 25% of the collection money for local use. The other 75% is sent to national CCHD, which then redistributes that collected money to organizations like those listed below.
