Today we read the words of St. Luke (24: 13-35) teaching us how Jesus appeared to two disciples who were walking away from Jerusalem towards the town of Emmaus. This third Sunday of Easter the reading is presented to us one more time. Please do not skip the Gospel readings below. Think As you read the following passages of Scripture, try to put yourself in the scene. Sense from the story the excitement of the disciples (perhaps Cleopas and Mark) — It was Sunday, the Crucifixion happened hardly 48 hours prior.
